This is the page on which you should report any bugs you discover in Kiwi, which is the software that runs this wiki.
Bugs
- The instructions in the Road to Lisp survey are wrong. The Click Here for the source link doesn't give the source, and there's no such button as "Create New Page".
- I had to ask on a list how to add a page here. This information is either absent or non-obvious. A simple help page linked from the index page would be good
- I used Firefox 1.5 on Windows to add a single character on "Edi Weitz' Road to Lisp" page and now all the formatting is messed up
- Sometimes search output pauses for a second midway through its output. Perhaps there's too much consing in the search context generator?
- Keyword parameters for in-line search could use better argument checking.
- Recent changes does not canonize the case of page names.
- Sometimes nonexistant pages appear in the orphanage.
- Pages in the Discuss and ALU Wiki namespaces should not appear in the orphanage.
- In the recent changes page, a date header can appear at the bottom of a page without any content following it (the content is usually on a following recent changes page).
- Date headings with emtpy content can also appear in situations where change listings are not spanning pages
- Text selection is screwed up for the last line of content text before the final horizontal rule. This is most likely a bug in the Kiwi style sheet.
- Clicking on a versioned link to the most recent version of a page should be the same as clicking on an unversioned link to the same page.
- Minor edits have been deliberately broken.
- Please fix the handling of HTML entities. E.g., try putting ampersand-l-t-semicolon in a page, and re-editing it.
- There is some strange, invalid HTML in Special:RecentChanges, e.g. form tags inside span, div tags inside tr but outside td. I tried to use tidy to clean it up, but it couldn't deal.
- Special:RecentChanges lists timestamps out of order. Maybe this is a timezone issue?
- Special:RecentChanges seems to sometimes list a change without specifying the day on which the change took place. E.g., at this moment http://wiki.alu.org:80/Special:RecentChanges?start=90 starts with a change "03:43 Denmark (version 0) -- Peter Mechlenborg?", but no date is listed.
- Not so much a bug as a complaint, but the anti-spam pictures are too hard. I cannot reliably read them; my success rate is somewhere between 30 and 40%, and dropping.
Enhancement Requests
- Incorporate Wikiwyg for editing posts.
- A brief discussion of any upgrade path for existing Cliki websites. (Response posted on Discuss:Kiwi -df)
- On a specific version of a page, the list of links to other versions should include a link to "newest"
- Since you use cookies to remember users, can you turn off the captcha's for recognized users?
- That you can report spam like ugly spam so it gets totaly removed and maybe block that IP or some other solution that solves spam problems.
