When did you first try Lisp seriously, and which Lisp family member was it?
A friend of mine, a graduate of mit, told my about lisp and sicp. So I bought the book, read it, and downloaded mit scheme. But it wasn't until I played with emacs that I appreciated lisp. I had tried to learn programming before with c and java, but it didn't seem very exciting. sicp and emacs made programming seem magical.

What led you to try Lisp?

What other languages have you been using most?

How far have you gotten in your study of Lisp?
I can do some web programming with lisp, mylisp I know enough to attempt a simple hindi lisp interpreter. I would like to work on a lisp environment extension for firefox. As I learn other things not yet implemented in lisp, I'd like to play with them in lisp.

What do you think of Lisp so far?
